My name is Rubins and for more than a decade I have been showing my friends and clients the beauty of the Amazon Rain Forest. I will take you into the primary rain forest on the Mamori/Juma River Reserve located 100km south of Manaus , Or to the Jau National Park located 200km northwest of Manaus.
On my tours I will show you the snakes, alligators, monkey, dolphins, spiders, frogs and the many birds that inhabit the region. You will learn about what it takes to survive in the jungle. We will fish for piranha, peacock bass, catfish, dourado and others. And at the end of the day sleep in a jungle camp or If you prefer staying in a jungle lodge, I know of many good Lodges in the area. See the Jungle lodges section for details.

Was founded in 2002 by Rubins Billy. Rubins is originally from Guyana, from the wapixana indeginos tribe that lives close to the border with Brasil in its northen territory. In this territory of Brazil, he learned about the rain forest, the wild life, and vegetation of area where he was born. He decided to open his own business and to specialize in bringing together... Adventure, Ecology Discovery,and highly sustainable tourism. The mission to educate people and tourists in an appriciation of the envioroment, and the protection of the Amazon Rain forest. He has been in business for over 10 Years conducting Jungle tours from Manaus, the city in the Heart of the Jungle.

The black Negro river and muddy Solimoes river are flowing next without mixing for miles due to different speed of the water, density and
temperature. You can see always pink and grey river dolphins playing around here.
I pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 am
We then head to main port in the center of Manaus, where we take a speed boat, to begin the journey to the east of Manaus, to see the fantastic meeting of the two rivers Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes ….An explanation will be given about the two rivers and why the waters don’t mix together.
We then continue the journey to visit a native family that lives on floating buildings, also there will be an option to fish for the giant fresh water fish, called ( Pirarucu Arupaima gigas) , and they grow to as large as 3 meters in length and weigh 180 kg or more.
After this we continue on the tour, to the national park called Janauri Lake arriving at this point at 11:00 am. There we are going to see the handy craft that is made by natives dwelling there.
There we will do a canopy walk to see the giant water lilies, wild life, and have a very good typical lunch. After lunch we continue on the tour, where we are going to explore the flooded areas, to see more wild life, and also to see the giant Samauma tree. Continuing the tour you will have an opportunity to swim with the pink dolphins. Before we continue on to visit an indigenous native family, It is there you will get to see a native ritual dance. We then head back to Manaus, arriving at 5:00pm.

This package is a normal day tour other options on this tour are piranha fishing and alligator spotting
On my tours I take you into the Mamori-Juma Eco Reserve about 80km south of Manaus. The region is a great place to see the vast wildlife, birds, monkeys, dolphins, spiders, snakes, jaguars and others. For many years now the locals are introduced in the benefits of Eco Tourism and the need to preserve the rain forest.
What we will do:
Jungle hiking with explanation of medical plants we find
Canoeing in flooded land (Igapo)
Fishing for peacock bass, catfish, piranha and others,
Observation of birds (sunrise tour)
Observation of monkeys, sloths and other primates
Alligator spotting (at night)
Night trekking with observation of rodents (Paca, Cutia, Tapir etc)
Introduction into survival techniques (building camps and traps)
Visiting local ( indigenous) communities
Overnight we can stay in a comfortable lodge with air conditioning, or in a local house, it depends on what you are looking for. You should have some time to fully enjoy the experience. I recommend at least 4 days.
